Name: Concannon
Shiraz
Winery review: This
is an extremely rich, full-bodied wine with a dark fruit core. Aromas of
blackberry, blueberry, cassis and dark cherry are followed by more berry fruits
and chocolate and mocha on the palate.
My review: This
was one of the few wines that was strong the nose. Had welcoming berry
aromas. On the palate, it was as full-bodied as advertised and there were
hints of black pepper on the finish. I typically like Shiraz and this one
didn’t disappoint.
I tasted this on its own with no food.
